We will be back sometime shortly after the first of the year to conclude the wrestling storyline.

If you don’t get that joke at the end, you haven’t played enough video games or watched much wrestling. It is the name of a famous video game ninja, a ninja-garbed wrestler whose career ended too soon and some kind of armor in Halo, a game too new school for me.

For reasons that I do not understand, this page didn’t post correctly last week when I automated it to. So here it is as the first Friday update of December. I didn’t plan to go biweekly until next week, but now that I have 2 random extra pages, why not?

The Pro Wrestling arc will probably run through the end of December, then we will move on to our next mystery game!

Revelations! But what does it all mean?

I realize as I wrote this I just assumed Star Man was meant to be the luchador of the game. He is wearing a full body purple suit though, which isn’t the most lucha-heavy costume ever.

Still, I do not think he is some weirdly purple, no faced man. And that is despite the monstrous figure from the game that we will be getting too soon in the interrogations.

Nice bit of hard boiled dialogue going with this one, I thought. More with Star Man next week!

Ah, the big man / little man complex of mainstream pro wrestling. But does that conundrum really hold true for Star Man?

And just a second reminder that the strip will be weekly over the course of November and nanowrimo.

I am sorry to the fans looking for a bit more comedy on these pages. I want to really weave the intricacies of the backstage area here and I am doing it all through the interview process, so we are a bit text heavy now. I will try my best to bring the funny more in the near future.

A quick note. In order to free up time for Nanowrimo and not let this strip get too far behind in its buffer, 8-Bit Cop will return to its Tuesday only scheduling for the month of November. Come December it will return to its regular twice weekly strips.

Time to meet Star Man. I plan to have some fun with this character. After him, we are half way through the Pro Wrestling roster by the way!
